MARIA - DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MEXICO AND AUSTRALIA

Mexico is located in North America. It has borders on the north with USA and on the south with Belize and Guatemala. 

Mexico was conquered by Spain 500 years ago. For that reason, Mexico is a country where its language is Spanish. 


differences between Mexico and Australia:

1. Mexico is located in America and Australia in Oceania.
2. The differences between these two countries is many.
3. Mexico is a country with many mountains, two mountain ranges,  volcanoes, jungles, forests, rivers, lakes and zenotes. Australia surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans and almost all of its territory is desert but it has forests and some mountains .
4. Australia is bigger than Mexico. (Australia 7,692,024 km2 Mexico 1,972,550 km2)
5. Australia is located at number 77 corruption index while Mexico is in position number 28, Mexico is a country where corruption is present especially in the government.
6. Australia is a country with cultural diversity where immigration is constant, this is done by a country that respects all cultures. Australian laws do not allow discrimination. Mexico is a country with a mixture of Aztecs and Spanish. In Mexico there is a lot of discrimination with  people aboriginal descent.
7. The police in Australia respect the law and have correct behavior. In Mexico the police is so corrupt and violent. The persons who live on Mexico do not trust in the police. 
8.   The crime rate in Australia is low in Mexico every minute a woman or child disappears. Every 5 minutes a woman is killed. Mexico has become a very dangerous country due to impunity in the laws.
9. In Mexico, universities are public and accessible to all people. In Australia, universities are private and very expensive.
10. Quality of life index Australia is at number 3 with 939 points (Australia is considered the third best country to live in the world) Mexico is in position 74 with 774. 
11. The food in Mexico is based mostly on corn and vegetables, like tortillas. Australia, the food is diverse, but it is mostly Asian and beef.
