Mae Sot city- Mae Sot city is the city that I was growing up. Mae Sot is a city in Wester Thailand that shares a border with Myanmar to West. Mae Sot is a small city but very beautiful. The city is part of Tak Province. It is home to the district headquarters of Mae Sot District and is the main gateway between Thailand and Burma.
Mae Sot is a place of ethnic diversity. We also had a lot of excellent food to try and also had some excellent Thai, Burmese, and India food. Very friendly owners, with great food at an incredibly low price. Mae Sot city also had a great Market place. The city also had Thailand and Myanmar border bridge. If we want to visit Myanmar border we just cross the bridge by foot or get a motorbike or taxi.
Mae Sot has also become the most important jade and gem center along the border, with much of the trade controlled by Chinese and Muslim immigrants from Myanmar. Again, Mae Sot is a small city that had a lot of natural beauty places, trees, and clean air.
