KEIKO - MY HOBBY

I have some hobbies.

One of them starts when I was kid. I like reading stories and comics. There are many interesting TV programs in Japan, but I could  watch TV for only 1 hour in my family role when I was child. So I read something every day. I was getting to addict in comics. There were varieties of stories, I was never bored it. Many Japanese comics are translated to many languages and they are read in the world now. It is one of Japanese culture and I'm proud of that.

It is impossible to do snowboarding in Perth, but it's my hobby. I went to snow perk every weekend in winter when I was in 20's. If I have chance to go to Hokkaido in Japan in winter, I will do snowboarding. Hokkaido is the best place for snowboarding in Japan, there is a lot of powdery snow and many Australian visit there.

I love drinking coffee and Japanese tea. I brought some Japanese tea ceremony stuffs in Australia, because I had been learning it. Japanese tea ceremony is not just drinking a cup of tea with sweets. It taught me Japanese hospitality, such as how to organised the ceremony, how to put seasonable flowers in vase, how to cook meals for ceremony, how to wear the Kimono, so on. Most of students were ladies, so I enjoyed learning it with chatting. It is difficult to do it now. I want to learn barista near future. There are many good cafes in Australia, but if I can make it at home, I will be happier.
